BIA Joins Fight against Childhood Brain Cancer

This March Berkley Insurance Australia pledges to donate $1 from every Open Market Policy bound in March to the Children’s Hospital Foundation supporting the Children’s Brain Cancer Centre.

Did you know that Brain Cancer kills more children in Australia than any other disease? In fact, every nine days one child loses their life and we want to stop it! Despite many advances in other childhood cancers, survival rates of brain cancer have made little progress over the last 30 years. The Children’s Brain Cancer Centre aims to change that.

The Children’s Brain Cancer Centre is Australia’s first research initiative solely focused on paediatric brain cancer, treatment, and survivorship, and brings together world-leading researchers, doctors, and facilities to boost brain cancer research capacity and outcomes in Queensland and beyond.

This March we ask our brokers to show their support and stand with us to support these strong kids and fight this cruel disease.
