Berkley expands online broker portal to Professional Indemnity
Berkley Insurance Australia (BIA) has expanded its online broker platform, bindIT to include Professional Indemnity Insurance.
bindIT is BIA’s automated portal for brokers, offering access to a suite of products through a quick, transparent, and efficient process that supports the sending of online proposals to clients through “Share a Link” functionality.  The platform enables brokers to obtain Quick Quotes in just 30 seconds and instantly bind and download policy documents.
bindIT will offer a combined Professional Indemnity and Public Liability solution with limits of up to $20 million.
BIA CEO Tony Wheatley says the key to bindITs success has been “our expert local underwriters are still available behind the scenes, providing personalised support and handling of referrals or queries”.
“The broker market has responded positively to our bindIT broker platform and we have added Professional Indemnity in response to their needs”.
Looking ahead Mr Wheatley explained that “Our mission remains to continuously enhance our services and provide brokers with the tools they need to cater to a diverse range of industries and occupations.”.
