After the wildly successful rollout of our IT Liability product on bindIT last September, brokers have been demanding that we make more products available as soon as possible. We have heard you loud and clear and decided to bring forward the launch of our automated Management Liability (ML) product onto the new platform. That’s right, our brokers can now handle their client’s ML quotes, document downloads and bind policies through this secure portal.

“The launch of IT Liability in September last year has exceeded our expectations in terms of broker response and feedback, so much so that brokers were asking us when they could access our other products” explained Mr Tony Wheatley, Chief Executive Officer of Berkley Insurance Australia.

In response to the broker demand we have ramped up our development timeline and expanded bindIT to include Management Liability.  Judging by the fantastic feedback we’re receiving from our brokers, bindIT is a smash!

“The Berkley Insurance Australia bindIT platform is refreshingly easy to use and the underwriting team respond so promptly to queries. It’s a great addition to the online landscape for IT Liability!” exclaimed Hayley Rowley, Senior Account Executive at Smart Business Insurance.

To be certain, one of bindIT’s greatest attributes is how quickly and effortlessly brokers can obtain quotes and bind. Getting a “tentative quote” takes about half a minute. If the Client wants a full quote, then the broker can obtain this, download documents and bind the policy in just a few minutes.

“Berkley Insurance Australia’s Management Liability was the next logical choice as it provides the broadest appeal to brokers. In general all of their business clients need an ML policy.” said Mr Wheatley.

Brokers don’t need to worry about calling or emailing our Underwriting team any longer if they prefer not to. bindIT gives them everything they need for a Management Liability policy at their finger tips. However, we are not looking to remove the personal touch.  We are committed to providing the same service from our local teams whichever way brokers choose to transact with us. It is important to us that brokers retain that choice.

“I love the new system, especially the question set, the ease with which I am able to gather multiple limit/excess options as well as the document delivery” said William Gomez, Account Manager at Scott & Broad.

bindIT is simply a more streamlined, digital outlet providing a faster way for brokers to service their clients. Providing quotes and policy options in a fraction of the time will certainly make clients more impressed by your service and increases the likelihood of them purchasing the cover.

The flexibility and convenience of bindIT lets clients securely enter information themselves at any time of the day or night. Once their broker has reviewed the details, the information is then updated into our system.

All three of the policy options are customisable, so you may arrange your client’s preferences just how you both want them. Actually, bindIT is so user friendly that you can be binding at the same time that your client is sitting beside you asking questions about their policy!

“Intuitive, quick and easy to bindIT risks” explained David Hodges, Principal of Insurance Advisernet.

It’s time to get onboard with automating Management Liability on bindIT

If you’re  a broker that prefers the personal communication with an underwriter above the technology, then there’s no need for concern , you’re welcome to continue with the same quoting and binding process that you’re already accustomed to. BindIT is just an automated system that gives our brokers and clients an additional option.  It is important to us that brokers retain that choice. Curious to know more about how bindIT works?
